Sanofi Pasteur recently received licensure for Fluzone Intradermal vaccine, the first FDAa-approved microneedle delivery system for influenza vaccination. Fluzone Intradermal vaccine features an ultra-fine needle that is 90% smaller than the typical needle used for intramuscular injection of influenza vaccine. The exclusive microinjection delivery system provides reliable and easy delivery of the vaccine just into the dermal layer of the skin.
