How does Pediatric Federation work?

By joining with healthcare professionals like yourself, you will increase our combined volume which allows all of us to purchase vaccine at significant discounts. Our discounts are based on volume and compliance. This leads to critical savings for every participant. We are not a distribution warehouse service. Ordering is done directly through the manufacturer and shipped to your office(s). You are billed by the manufacturer.

What does it cost to belong to Pediatric Federation?

It costs nothing. There are no annual dues. Your office pays nothing. A small portion of the savings generated by the vaccine purchasing program covers all operating costs.

How do I join Pediatric Federation?

Joining is simple. First read through Pediatric Federation's Rules and Regulations. If you would like to join us in this cooperative effort and enjoy the benefits of participating in the group please complete and submit an application by clicking here. Remember that participation in Pediatric Federation is voluntary. Once you join you need to abide by the simple but important compliance rules and regulations. This allows us to maintain low contract pricing.

What makes Pediatric Federation successful and what will I need to do as a member?

Cooperation and Compliance. Cooperation allows us to act as a powerful contracting force. In order to create and sustain the benefits of volume purchasing we must stick together and purchase all vaccines through the approved Pediatric Federation vaccine contracts. Our physician participants vote for vaccine contract lines during the contracting process. This makes us unique among purchasing organizations. We also return as much of the administrative rebate as possible to our participating physicians, unlike the other GPOs who do not return rebate/admin fees, or only a small portion  This significiant rebate return sets us apart from other physician purchasing groups.

Now that I am a member, how do I order products?

Approximately one to two weeks after submitting your application, you will be able to order with Pediatric Federation contract pricing through all traditional avenues:

Telephone - directly to manufacturer. You can verify that contract pricing has been loaded into your account by asking the representative when placing your first order,

Internet - click on our manufacturer Ordering Link for direct connection. To verify our contract has been loaded into your account, check one of our contract prices when you place your first Internet order.

Currently, with one manufacturer, you can benefit from additional discounts by ordering through the Internet. This "Internet Order Discount" of 1% is in addition to our contract pricing.

How do I pay for the products I order?

You are billed directly from the manufacturer. Our contracts generally contain terms that extend the length of time required to pay. All traditional forms of payment are accepted: · Check · Credit Cards · COD

How does this compare to direct ordering? How much money will I save ?

Our contract pricing contains very substantial discounts over direct purchase prices. We strongly urge you to compare our contracted pricing to your current costs, so you will know your exact savings. In addition to "on invoice" Pediatric Federation discounts, you will participate in our rebate/admin return, according to your purchase volume.
