Our Story
In 1991, a group of forty concerned pediatricians, administrators and nurses met to cooperatively address and solve problems created by managed care. Collectively, the group came up with many new and innovative ways of improving office administration as well as reducing the overall costs of
running a practice. This group became known as Pediatric Federation.
Many innovative and cooperative solutions were derived from these meetings. By far the greatest achievement was the formation of the Vaccine Purchasing Program. The success of the Vaccine Purchasing Program has contributed to Pediatric Federation's growth to over 800 pediatric, family practice, and internal medicine physicians, in nine states. Because of substantial growth and considerable size, in December of 1998, Pediatric Federation became a Limited Liability Company (LLC). Pediatric Federation LLC has become one of the largest purchasing groups of private pediatricians.
We have an Advisory Board of seven pediatricians and an administration team that provides day-to-day management. The management team is comprised of a pediatrician, an office administrator and a technical advisor.
About Us
Our philosophy is simple: Make running all aspects of pediatric practices better. We do this through innovation, participation, and cooperation. Working together we enhance the day-to-day operations of our participant offices.
The management team has assembled this website in order to improve communications,
facilitate growth, and provide a cost effective and simple way to maintain the logistical data of the group. As Pediatric Federation grows we will use and update the features of this website to become a dynamic and complete pediatric practice resource.
Any physician or private practice licensed to practice medicine in any State of the United States of America can be a participant of Pediatric Federation. There are no charges to join or to belong to our group. In fact, the more participants the better. The larger the group the more it will increase our purchasing power within the Vaccine Purchasing Program and enhance the knowledge base of the Pediatric Federation community.
